These are beautiful images of the grand Carolina Theater (1927) in my hometown, Greensboro, NC. It was used as a movie theater when I was young, but it has undergone major renovation and has served mainly as a performing arts theater for the past few decades. It is an ornate, classic, early 20th century-style, grand piece of theater architecture.(Photo from sminor's photostream)
