John Pierce Interview with Tony Campolo

This is an interview conducted by my friend, John Pierce, with the renowned Tony Campolo. Tony may be best known, at this point, for having served as Bill Clinton's spiritual advisor and counselor during Clinton's difficult second term in office as President of the United States.

Tony, known for his progressive thought and reform in the evangelical community, is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at Eastern University in St. David's, Pennsylvania. He is an ordained Baptist minister and is Pastor at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in West Philadelphia. He has a weekly TV talk show in the Northeast, is a prominent national speaker, and is author of numerous books on theology. I have heard him speak a number of times and he is outstanding.

John Pierce, an enthusiastic Atlanta Braves season ticket holder (he attended a minor league game with me in Greensboro in 2011), is an ordained Baptist minister who presently serves as Executive Editor of "Baptists Today", an outstanding publication which I highly recommend.

May we spend some time in prayer, meditation, reflection, and service during Christian Holy Week.
